Appalled at India #women #medicalequipment #abuse #lorijeanfinnila #livingpositivelytoday
I'm appalled at India for treating women so poorly about their bodies. They expect me to crush my bones into this foot brace.

Chronic Illnesses: I Do Relate #nodoctors #alone #chronillnesses #lorijeanfinnila #livingpositivelytoday #antideppressants
I just read a post from @brendonburchard about starting that 1rst page. I knew I had another book in me, maybe my first and only.
Part of first page:
I see many women in tears being ignored and even called mentally ill instead of addressing the health concern. I related when my body was on fire, possibly to Hashimoto's, and offered an antidepressant from an NP instead of investigating the situation-so I understand. Years later I found out I was allergic to the daisy family-red all over my arms. I think of the discomfort and/or death I could have had since that day. I had already been written off by an endocrinologist for any help with my Hashimoto's where it wasn't showing high enough counts in my blood. I wasn't given any information on all the helpful ideas there are to lessen the symptoms. Over 150 books and DVDs later, including an integrated medicine lecture course, I found cognitive awareness and some symptom relief, even for only a short time for both. Unfortunately as I drift in and out of cognitive awareness I hold tight to those moments when I'm here, when I can help myself;sometimes it feels like I'm dragging, desperately holding onto the edge of a cliff trying to retain the information, or a new idea to what I’ve found.
